About
Paul Golata is an engineer, an adjunct professor of Philosophy and Christian Ethics and the distinguished author of The Ethics of Superintelligent Design: A Christian View of the Theological and Moral Implications of Artificial Superintelligence (Wipf and Stock, 2018). A self-described biblical ethicist and moral philosopher specializing where the worlds of technology, artificial intelligence (AI) and God’s Kingdom intersect, Golata offers a unique Christian worldview to technology's bleeding edge. In addition to teaching Philosophy and Christian Ethics at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary - Fort Worth, he is a recognized servant-leader and pastor in the greater DFW community. Currently, Golata is also a senior technology specialist in the electronics industry, where he actively applies his engineering expertise on a daily basis.
