George Allen

George Allen is a Technical Fellow at nTopology. Previously, he worked for 40+ years on the development of the Unigraphics/NX CAD/CAM system, mostly in geometric modeling areas, holding various positions in R&D, Marketing, and Strategic Planning. Has has consulted with many companies, helping them to use engineering software more effectively, including GM, Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Boeing, Canon, and others. He was elected McDonnell Douglas Corporation Fellow in 1989, and an EDS Fellow in 2003. He has taught courses on Computational Geometry at U. C. Irvine, and organised SIGGRAPH tutorials on solid modeling. He serves as an associate editor of the CAD journal, and is a Solid Modeling Pioneer.
