I have worked in a variety of capacities in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and understand the workings of the department from a variety of perspectives, including research, administration, alumni relations, and communications and marketing. Since 2003, I have focused primarily on communications and marketing. Activities have grown from publishing the annual newsletter after 6 year hiatus, to several website redesigns, increased storytelling through a variety of mediums (print, web, enewsletters, photos, video, social media), and a variety of marketing materials to highlight the remarkable work of the faculty, students, and alumni in the department. Since 2009, my focus has been Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), a world leader in advanced technology and innovation.
