The customer decided to automate the production process of brake discs to increase productivity and reduce the challenging nature of manually picking the brake discs from a bin.

The automation solution deploys a bin picking system that identifies the brake discs located in two bins and sends the coordinates of the part to be picked to the robot.
The solution consists of the Photoneo Bin Picking Studio and a PhoXi 3D Scanner.
